From Burnout to Flow: A CEO's 21-Day Synthesis Journey
How a high-stakes founder used the Aumveda 21-Day Synthesis to recalibrate their parasympathetic nervous system, recover from clinical burnout, and return to peak performance.

The Presenting State
Rohan (name changed) arrived at Aumveda in March 2025. He was the co-founder of a Series B tech company, 38 years old, and presenting with what he called "total cognitive shutdown." His symptoms: inability to make decisions that previously felt automatic, persistent insomnia despite physical exhaustion, emotional flatness, and what he described as "a complete disconnection from why any of it matters."
Clinical assessment revealed: severe burnout (Maslach Burnout Inventory: score 4.8/5 on exhaustion subscale), disrupted HRV (heart rate variability — the key biomarker of nervous system regulation), cortisol dysregulation (flat morning cortisol curve), and a dominant cognitive schema of "I am only valuable when producing."
The Assessment: Where the Synthesis Begins
Aumveda's intake process spans three domains simultaneously. Psychologically, we mapped Rohan's cognitive architecture using CBT schema assessment — identifying the core belief ("I am only worthwhile when I perform") and its downstream consequences. Cosmically, Archana Jain ran a Vedic chart reading that revealed Rohan was in the midst of Shani Mahadasha (Saturn major period) — a period that, in Vedic tradition, strips away what is no longer aligned with the soul's authentic purpose. Spatially, a Vastu consultation of his home office revealed severe North zone obstruction (heavy bookshelf blocking the wealth/career axis) and a South-facing desk position creating constant stress activation.
The Synthesis protocol was designed across all three axes simultaneously.
The 21-Day Protocol
Psychological axis (Sejal Jain): Daily 45-minute CBT sessions in the first week focused on schema identification and evidence-mapping — systematically dismantling the "value through output" belief by excavating its origins (a high-achieving, emotionally withholding father) and cataloguing the evidence against it. Week 2 introduced behavioural experiments: scheduled periods of deliberate non-productivity, with attention to what arose emotionally. Week 3 moved to identity reconstruction — building the replacement schema ("I am inherently worthy; my output is an expression of this, not its source") through cognitive rehearsal and somatic anchoring.
Vibrational axis: Twice-daily sound therapy using 396 Hz (liberation from guilt/fear) in the morning and 528 Hz (cellular repair) in the evening. The 528 Hz evening session was paired with a Pyrite bracelet charged by Archana Jain — a physical object Rohan could hold during the session as a proprioceptive anchor for the healing state.
Spatial axis: The home office North wall was cleared and a Vastu Pyrite Tortoise placed there. The desk was rotated to face East (the direction of new beginnings in Vastu). A small water feature was added to the North zone to activate financial flow energy.
The Results
Day 7: Rohan reported the first full night of sleep in four months. HRV measurement showed a 23% increase.
Day 14: First spontaneous experience of what he called "caring about work again" — not from obligation, but from genuine interest. Schema questionnaire showed a shift in the core belief score from 9.2 to 6.8 (0–10 scale, 10 = absolute belief in schema).
Day 21: Rohan described feeling "like myself, but a version I didn't know existed." Morning cortisol curve normalised. Decision-making, by his own assessment and his co-founder's report, returned to baseline. Schema score: 4.1.
Six months later, Rohan remains in follow-up. The schema score has held at 3.8. He attributes continued stability to the daily 528 Hz practice (now seven minutes, woven into his morning routine) and the spatial changes — which, he notes, his co-founders have begun replicating in the office after observing his transformation.
The Aumveda synthesis is not a replacement for psychiatric care in severe clinical cases. But for the enormous number of high-functioning individuals caught between "not clinically ill" and "not truly well," the three-axis approach produces outcomes that single-modality interventions consistently fail to achieve.
